It wasn't that hard to make the shirt, once I looked at my husband's one up close. I cut 10" strips and sewed pin tucks in them - they ended up about 7 tucks and about 3" wide. Then I cut out the shirt and neatly sewed the strips on the shirt fronts and pockets so they would line up correctly. MUCH easier than trying to estimate and sew the pin tucks into the actual shirt pieces. Then I just followed the pattern directions and sewed the shirt together the rest of the way.
